Bedford Drive School Meals
We have recently re-vamped our school meals and are confident that the changes made will be of great benefit to the children at Bedford Drive. The feedback that we have had so far has been very positive.
EYFS
We offer our children in Foundation 1 a cold option for their lunch to begin with, an example of which is shown below. These are chargeable and cost £1.80 per day or £9.00 per week and are to be paid in advance on Parentmail click here for the link.
Week One – Ham Sandwiches, piece of fruit and a yoghurt or jelly
Week Two – Cheese Sandwiches, piece of fruit and a yoghurt or jelly
Week Three – Cheese Spread Sandwiches, piece of fruit and a yoghurt or jelly
Key Stage 1
We would like all Key Stage 1 (that’s Foundation 2, Year 1 and Year 2) to take a healthy lunch meal prepared for by the school. In addition to the hot counter we also have cold options available too should your child not want a hot meal, we are confident that they will enjoy the food options which are totally free of charge at this key stage due to the UIFSM Government policy introduced in 2014.
Key Stage 2
At Key Stage 2 (Years 3 - 6), children are offered the same options, however these meals are chargeable at a cost of £2.30 per day or £11.50 per week and are to be paid in advance on Parentmail click here for the link..
