Mental Health Support
There is a lot of uncertainty around the current COVID-19 Pandemic, particularly given that the situation is constantly developing and changing.
Understandably, this is causing a lot of worry and anxiety for people. Having children and young people at home, often when people are trying to work themselves, adds another layer of stress. It is therefore important to not only consider our physical health during such challenging times, but also to pay attention to our mental health. It is normal to feel worried, stressed and anxious when we are faced with uncertain situations.
Below are some resources that we felt parents / carers and our pupils may find useful:
NHS Mental Health Crisis Line is a new phone line, opened to provide access to Mental Health 24 hour Support and run by NHS CWP Trust staff. This telephone line is for anyone who may need support in and across Wirral, Chester West and Chester East. Anyone can call and talk to dedicated Mental Health Professional, including children, young people and all adult age groups 24/7. The number is 0300 303 3972.
