A Message from Mrs Horton
I am proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of Bedford Drive Primary School, which is a friendly school with high aspirations for all of our children.
At Bedford Drive our motto is Inspire, Believe, Succeed. We INSPIRE children through an exciting and aspirational curriculum. We encourage children to BELIEVE in themselves and give them the tools to SUCCEED in whatever they do, setting them up with lifelong skills.
We are an inclusive school that caters for the needs of all of our children. We have a holistic approach to education and have an emphasis on developing the whole child. Our staff understand that good relationships with families are vital for children to thrive and we promote a caring, family ethos in school, in which all of our children are nurtured to feel safe and cared for. Our ethos encourages children to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.
Through our monthly values children are encouraged to develop strong principles that guide thinkingand behaviour. Behaviour is further supported through our behaviour expectations of always being Ready, Respectful and Safe.
We offer an exciting curriculum, which has been designed to engage all of our children and help them to develop a love of learning and promote curiosity, investigation and problem solving. As a school we are continually improving and ensuring that we deliver the highest standards of education.
Working together in partnership with parents, carers and the local community, we work hard to provide our children with the best possible life chances and strong values that will support them in their future life.
